It's winter time!

I was born on a snowy winter night in the far north of the USA. As a child, I spent most of my time painting. I followed in the footsteps of many artists in my family and studied art in college. I worked in graphic design for several years, but after the birth of my twin daughters, I began illustrating digitally. As my skills and passion for it grew, so did my dream of becoming a children's book illustrator. I love illustrating nature, animals, and recreations of classics. Although my winter start in the north woods inspires much of my artwork, I now live with my husband and daughters in Dubai, a city of constant heat and sun. When I'm not illustrating, I may be riding in the desert and trying out a new recipe with my family in my kitchen or on the beach.
